The Abu Dhabi Food Hub – KEZAD is being developed as an ecosystem for trading of all food categories – fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, dairy, dry foods, pulses, grains and cereals, seafood, flowers, gourmet, and fine foods.

The state-of-the-art infrastructure will be purpose-built to cater to the handling needs of each type of product – we understand the criticality of food safety, maintaining right temperatures, humidity levels, ventilation etc to keep the food still fresh after thousands of miles of its travel to the UAE!

Masterplan &
Development

The Food Hub is a 3.3 sqkm Development in Khalifa Industrial Zone in Abu Dhabi

The Food Hub will be made up of five key clusters – trading, logistics, farmers market, retail and B2C arena, and a Food Sciences Academy.

  • The masterplan is designed to accommodate trading and logistics of all food categories. In addition, the hub will house on-site customs, food control authorities, laboratories, etc.
  • The future-focused Food Hub will also be home to food technology and innovation center with areas for concept-testing new ideas and dedicated areas for farming community to provide a direct outlet to market.
  • To further support the R&D ecosystem, nurturing talent that supports the Food Hub and the regional industry, a dedicated Food Sciences Academy is also being planned.
